My journey
I enjoy building software, shaping ideas and sharing what I learn. Over time, writing code has brought broader responsibilities: products, decisions and the people I work with.

Lead Software Engineer, Capgemini
Today, I am a Lead Software Engineer – Managing Consultant at Capgemini. I continue to design software architecture and write code while working with the client, guiding technical decisions and following features through to release. I like connecting the details with the bigger picture: understanding what is needed, making it clear to the team and building a solution that can evolve.
Since January 2025, I have also been a People Manager, a parallel role in which I support people in their professional growth. We discuss goals, challenges and next steps, both in structured meetings and in everyday conversations. I enjoy teaching, sharing context and seeing someone gain confidence in their own decisions. For me, leading a team also means creating the conditions for people to work well and independently.

Joining Capgemini
I joined Capgemini in March 2024 as a Senior Software Engineer and iOS Team Leader. I work on Poste Business, Poste Italiane’s app for professionals and businesses, developing and providing technical leadership for the iOS client. I designed the architectural foundation for the gradual migration from UIKit to SwiftUI, which began in April 2025, with shared components and attention to accessibility. Alongside coding, I handle estimation, planning and collaboration with the client, designers, Android and backend teams.
During my time here, I have taken that same enthusiasm for sharing beyond the team. At the University of Salerno’s App Challenge, I coached students developing CAAPP, a project supporting parents and teachers of children with complex communication needs. I have also taken part in “Distretto per la Scuola” career guidance initiatives and tutored a workshop on using Copilot in software development: opportunities to share experience with people who are learning, experiment together and listen to new ideas.

SkyIT
I joined SkyIT as an apprentice Programmer Analyst and gradually broadened my work over six years. I started with web development using AngularJS, KnockoutJS, Angular 2+ and React, then moved into frontend architecture, mobile development and backend integrations. Working on different parts of a product helped me understand dependencies, collaborate with other teams and follow a feature beyond its interface.
That experience led me to design a React/Redux foundation so that each new application would not require rebuilding the same infrastructure. Routing, state, API calls, authentication and common components became a shared base, adopted by three developers and reused in at least four applications. It was also an opportunity to support junior colleagues and make technical choices understandable to the people who would build on them.
With iPatente, I took on independent responsibility for estimates and mobile delivery for the first time, in a team of two, and integrated login using Italy’s Electronic Identity Card, CIE, in React Native. For Itabus, I worked on Java serverless integrations on AWS, releasing features and fixes to production. These different experiences broadened my view of the product and my sense of responsibility for what we release.

Fantapazz
Fantapazz was one of my first opportunities to follow an app through its entire lifecycle. As a freelancer and the sole iOS developer, I discussed ideas with the product leads, co-designed the experience and built the new Swift client from scratch, taking care of architecture, the interface, integrations and App Store publishing.
The new version was released in summer 2018, replacing the existing Objective-C client: my first app was live! The collaboration continued until December 2019, alongside my work at SkyIT, giving me the chance to turn product needs into an experience ready for people to use.

WWDC Scholarship
In 2017, Apple awarded me one of 350 scholarships to attend WWDC in San Jose, California. That recognition took my journey beyond the classroom, giving me an opportunity to exchange ideas with the international Apple developer community. Creativity and a passion for software found a wider context while I was still building the foundations of my career.

Apple Developer Academy, Naples
My Apple journey began with the inaugural Developer Academy at the University of Naples Federico II in 2016/2017. I was one of 200 students admitted, ranking 24th in the admissions list. This was where my work in iOS development began to take shape: combining programming with attention to the experience of the people using the app, making room for ideas and learning from others.

Continuing to learn
I continue to study alongside my work. After earning a BSc in Computer Science at Parthenope University in 2020, I began an MSc in Cybersecurity, LM-66, at Universitas Mercatorum. It is currently in progress, with completion expected in March 2027. In March 2026, I also earned the Professional Agile Leadership I certification: another step in bringing technical skills and care for people together.
Learning also means giving something back. In 2021, drawing on the CIE integration I had implemented for iPatente, I contributed Italian and English technical documentation to PagoPA’s CIE SDK. The pull request was merged into the official repository: a practical way to make what I had learned on the job more accessible to other developers.
